Expanding Healthcare for Communities

Access to quality healthcare remains a major challenge for many underserved communities in Pakistan. To address this need, Gawahi Community Development Trust has been actively providing free healthcare services through its Gawahi Mobile Medical Clinic, reaching people across Karachi and Sindh.

Today, an important new step is being taken to strengthen these efforts — the Gawahi Health Center (GHC) is now under construction.

Serving Communities Through the Gawahi Mobile Clinic

For years, the Gawahi Mobile Clinic has been traveling to different areas to provide free medical consultations and medicines to people in need. The mobile clinic serves individuals from all backgrounds and religions, ensuring that healthcare is accessible to everyone without discrimination.

Through these outreach services, many families who cannot afford medical treatment or travel to hospitals have been able to receive essential care close to their homes.

A New Step: The Gawahi Health Center

To expand these services and reach even more people, the Gawahi Health Center (GHC) is currently under construction. Once completed, the center will provide permanent healthcare facilities to communities that require reliable and affordable medical services.

The health center will include:

• OPD (Outpatient Department) for medical consultations
• Pharmacy providing essential medicines
• Laboratory services for basic medical testing

These facilities will help ensure that patients can receive comprehensive healthcare support in one place, improving access to diagnosis, treatment, and medication.
